Where and when should we meet in March? We don't have to meet at Hamilton at 7pm on a Sunday, like usual. We can mix it up.
i can proabbly attend and potentially convince a +1 to join if its the weekend of the 7/8 or 14/15
@Dan that's around when you're giving your talk at SCALE SCALE, right?
seems like the 14/15 may work well if the goal is to wait till after SCALE
wait i fucked up the dates
Yeah, on the 14th I might need to drive my daughter to her flameworking class at 4 but my wife can probably do it. The 15th is open for me.
or i didnt....
But yeah, I was thinking we could get a lil' trip report after SCALE
the scale website has 2023 dates lol
https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/20x/schedule/index.html
oh! I'm the one who f'ed that up
Here we go: March 5-8, 2026: https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/23x
damn i thought remy was a presenter this year
my bad, I fixed the link above
all good haha
Do we want to meet in Coolidge Corner, like usual, or mix it up? I was sort of thinking about Time Out.
i can probably meet wherever. would definitely prefer places accessible via transit from like north cambridge but im interested enough that id be down to travel a little
oh i do have a potential conflict that weekend, but it should only be one day so ill try and figure that out. if the meetups are like late evening it should be fine
Time Out is cool. I'd be up for it.
Here's my talk btw https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/23x/presentations/where-world-internet-box I didn't write this, I was sort of drafted into this.
very cool
If we stick with Sunday night, like usual, it sounds like we're talking about March 8th or 15th. Does anyone have a preference? Lately we've been meeting at 7pm.
march 8 doesnt have a potential conflict for me
Poll?
I'd have to vote for 15.
How about Sunday, March 22? Does that work for everyone?
i can probably do that, but wont be able to bring a +1 like i planned
@Dan @Yamil Suarez @Pete @Dave Hanft et al. what works for you?
15, 22, 29
Cool, thanks! Sounds like March 22 is winning
Sorry about your +1 @Adrian. Maybe next time!
no worries!
Hmm, now I have a conflict on March 22nd.
@Adrian are you saying March 15th is a conflict for you?
it shouldnt be. i think the other thing i might be doing that day should be over by like 4-5 pm
although i rechecked the dates and my +1 will also be leaving around that time too, so they prob still wont make it unless we do 3/8 or saturdays
Gotcha. Well, March 8th doesn't work for @Dan
Lately we've been meeting at 7pm so you should have plenty of time to finish up your other thing.
That  is all I need.
I updated the website with this:
However, I could be convinced to meet earlier.
Something came up that will affect my availability. I likely won't be able to make the 15th but I'm not sure exactly what the outcome will be. I'll find out in the next few days.
Ah, bummer. Well, I'm happy to change it. Just lemme know.
Sure. Well go with whichever has the most attendees in the end.

i am booked pretty solidly in March will try to make it out if I can otherwise I see everyone in April. And hopefully we will see grass at that point ?
@Dave Hanft ok, great, we'll keep the Dave-friendly 7pm time, just in case you can make it. Fingers crossed! :fingers_crossed:
I plan to make it on the 15th at Time Out.
My situation is uncertain. I may be back in time.
Just a reminder that we're meeting on Sunday at 7pm at Time Out in the Fenway. Links to maps and such are here: https://bostonopen.dev
When we meet at a restaurant we're always asked how big of a table we need. Time Out is much more relaxed. Should be nice.
This is my RSVP yes. (to the 15th at Time Out.)
Hey, plans turned out such that I'll be out of town. Sorry to miss it! Hope to see photos.

@Dave Hanft bummer but at I don't have to carry the ukulele I'd like to give back to you. I hope the kiddos feel better! And, yeah, lemme know about breakfast downtown or whatever. :breakfast:
@Dan sorry you can't make it! Thanks, as always, for tooting! :elephant:
@Morgan Jassen glad you're coming. I think I was out of town when you came a while back.
