I just found out that there's a regional Tetris tournament at MIT on Saturday at noon

The instructions on this page say to go to this Discord room for more info. I did that. I got the time from there and he said that spectators were welcome. I might go to this.
Ah, Stata Center room 32-141. Hmm. Tempting.
Ha, the video from Kansas City: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qUo_VlWJU4&t=47s
I stayed up late last night watching Pixel Andy get a new world record score.
I am planning to go for sure at this point.
Blue Scuti in this Kansas tournament is the same 13 year old kid who recently crashed the game for the first time ever. "Beating" the game, level 157 iirc.
The second guy to do it is known as Fractal and he's hosting the event tomorrow.
Also current world champion.
I'm at Strata now
I think some sort of band practice is wrapping up while they're setting up the tournament haha
I think I heard him say they may not start for an hour.
Cell doesn't work in the lecture hall. I'll not be able to reliably get any messages here.
Oh it's a video game orchestra club! Also livestream https://youtube.com/watch?v=kwjiS7eA994
So how was it?
Pretty fun. Low key being in a lecture hall.
