Hi, I just noticed that the Boston Perl Mongers group on Meetup is shutting down.
Maybe you'd like to invite them to use this forum to organize their events.
https://www.meetup.com/boston-pm/
Hmm, it's a bummer they aren't on Mastodon ( https://boston-pm.github.io/#social-media ) of I'd see if @Dan wants to toot at them.
But anyway, yes @Gabor Szabo it's fine with me if they want to use #boston to organize their events. Maybe you can reach out to them?
well we are now (as was hinted in coming attractions on the #social-media anchor) . @Boston_PM@fosstodon.org
Thanks for the invitation here. I'll add this too !
(For the time being, I've added BostonPM as a watch-word for myself here.
Whether BostonPM should be a Channel or Organization or just a Topic under Boston I can't infer immediately and needn't be decided until we see how many of our MailingList hop on here in the next month or two as I promote it.)
Cool, welcome!
Boston.PM monthly virtual tech meeting is tomorrow, Second Tuesday as (almost) always, March 11th, 7pm EDT (if there was a formal presentation planned it would start 7.30, so not late until then).
(I'll put a new post in the #perl channel, while I just extending this topic thread in #boston .)

See #Perl channel for announcement/link for tonight's Boston.PM virtual meet.
