When should we meet in July? And where?
I'm glad we've been branching out a bit. I enjoyed Artisans Asylum and the Speedway last month (#boston > 2025-06 meetup).
We don't have to meet in Brookline. We don't have to meet on Sunday nights. Should we brainstorm a bit?
One idea was to have beers on the Esplanade: #boston > Night Shift Esplanade
We could crash Libre Boston: #boston > Libre Boston
Someone could come up with a talk to give at CarGurus: #boston > CarGurus
Very exciting! My vote is for nothing car related.
Ha, well, we haven't done anything car-related yet!
For what it's worth I don't drink; would love to meet at (e.g.) a sushi place where we could get one big thing for the table
I'm busy basically the rest of the summer :smiling_face_with_tear: but I could do the 20th, happy to travel
At least if its Sundays
I could probably do the 20th

The 20th works for me as well. I missed Artisans' Asylum (though seen it before and it's rad), but I'd be for branching out the types of locations and making it a mixed-venue, not-so-dinner meetup.

If we went for Night Shift Esplanade would we prefer the one on the actual Esplanade (map) or the one at Herter Park in Allston (map)? See also https://nightshiftbrewing.com/locations/beer-gardens/ where it says the hours for both on Sunday (I'm assuming we're still talking about the 20th) are noon – 8pm.
If it rains, maybe we could try meeting at Mighty Squirrel Fenway instead. It's near Fenway Park (map). See https://www.mightysquirrel.com/fenway-taproom
I'm super open to ideas. We can always go for Hamilton where we've meet a million times but it's summer and it would be nice to mix things up.
We could also skip July if we can't decide
One more idea: we could meet at Time Out Market Boston in the Fenway (map), eat something, and then (if it's not raining) walk along the Muddy River to check out the free public sculptures that are there for the summer. It's called Studio Without Walls and ends near the Longwood T stop (map).
Yet another: I just noticed that @Maria Dolgareva just posted about board games this Saturday afternoon in Cambridge for her group (#boston > Boston Web Dev Learning Group). Maybe we could crash it!
Philip thank you! I’d be happy to see folks on Saturday. We meet from 3 to 5pm at the Cambridge Public Library, will have Carcassonne / The Crew / 7 Wonders / Codenames / Scrabble / Chess+Checkers / Go and pizza! You can look for more details in Discord channel.
Nice, I love Carcassonne. I'll try to make it tomorrow but first I have to drive to Dover to pick up 8 shares of vegetables for our farm share.
So! For Sunday, July 20th, how about if we continue to mix it up. Here's what I'm thinking:
Please give a  if you're a maybe, at least.

Yeah mine is a maybe this time, thanks for that option.
I went ahead and updated https://bostonopen.dev with the plan above. Hope to see you all there! :rocket:
Would it be a good time to pull out the juggling clubs?
Absolutely! Grass instead of a parking lot! I think we got some pics last time. /me looks at #boston > juggling
Before/after the art part? Or before dinner?
Up to you

Are you able to meet earlier than 7 for pre-juggling? It'll probably be too dark to do after.
Actually it's probably gonna rain right? Which means just Market and Trillium?
Oh maybe not that late though.
Just don't drop our clubs when we're juggling on the wet grass :-)
Sure, I can meet early for juggling. Should we just use your clubs again?
Sure I can bring them all.
Any idea about parking in the area?
On a Sunday.
Hmm, great question. I'm planning on walking or biking over.
You could maybe park in Brookline and walk over?
Yeah I figured I could do that.
Just a reminder about Sunday! No need to RSVP but feel free to! Time Out, not Hamilton this time! Happy Summer! https://bostonopen.dev

@Philip Durbin Want to pick a specific time for juggling? 6?
Especially if others want to join or watch.
Or we could do 6:30 if you don't feel like we have an hour in us.
I'm fine with 6. I assume there'll be room to juggle at the green space in front of Time Out/Trillium. Labeled "P" in this image:

Perfect :juggling::woman_juggling::man_juggling:
I’m completely open to mixing it up; but not going to be able to make 20th. :(
Forecast became more sad. So let's keep an eye on that for juggling. I'm gonna show up before 6 regardless because I ordered something from REI which is in that building.
Yeah, I'm gonna walk. Leaving pretty soon. We should be fine for juggling. Walking home might be a little wet!
I parked .8 miles away. Maybe I can give you a lift and save you the rest of the rain.
Are we expecting anyone else?
